Meet the Founder
I am a Woman of Intent!
In 2008 Vernice invited some of her friends over to her house. During that time she loved reading and studying the bible. She was led to speak to her friends about one of the parables she was studying at the time. This meal turned into a great conversation full of life lessons, connection, and community. They enjoyed themselves so much that they agreed to continue to meet throughout the summer. Vernice was excited and frightened all at once. Her home was being used to help others break generational curses by having open dialogue concerning things that hindered them from moving forward. She gave the sessions the name SOW (Spreading Our Wisdom) Sessions. This was the beginning of what we now know as Women of Intent.
In 2018 Vernice was led to take her SOW sessions to the community by creating a flyer that gave the info and she was open to presenting to whomever attended the session. She did it afraid, not knowing who would show up or if anyone would attend. On that November day, Women of Intent was birthed as a resource in the community to provide education and information to guide women toward their goals.
Women of Intent has been a consistent staple in the community providing group coaching, workshops, and retreats. As a Registered Nurse Vernice knows how to be a leader. She leads Women of Intent with love and compassion using her faith as her guide. As an Author and Certified Life Coach, Vernice coaches others to rip off their LABELS that limit their life.

Women of Intent INC, is a non profit organization based in Louisville KY. We create safe spaces for women in community that provide resources, information and tools to improve their lives. This space is open to all who identify as woman. Our motto is NO WOMAN LEFT BEHIND. We are willing hold space for any woman who is doing the work to improve her life.
Connection
We aim to build trusting relationships with the women by providing safe spaces to facilitate growth and healing.
Coaching
Our team of certified life coaches provide resources, education, and tools to women as they take the journey to reach their goals. We offer group coaching and individualized coaching packages.
Community
We have cultivated a strong network of like-minded women in our Facebook group to remain engaged with women we meet along the way during events.
